Saint Elizabeth Home, a 168 bed, non-profit 501c3 skilled nursing facility is seeking a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This position leads a long tenured group of caregivers providing high quality care to 52 long term residents, 40 residents on a Memory Care Neighborhood, a 28 bed short term rehab unit, and four 12-bed Green House Homes. 

The Administrator is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing and coordinating of the facility to ensure the highest quality care for residents; be knowledgeable of and implement federal, state and local laws and regulations applicable to the facility, residents, personnel and physical plant. Responsible for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Requirements: Must hold a current, unencumbered nursing facility administrator’s license in the state of R.I. A background in providing high caliber leadership is required as well as a proven track record of delivering high quality clinical and resident/family satisfaction outcomes. Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Trinity Health Senior Communities to assist in the recruitment of a President to lead the New England Ministry.  The Ministry includes: Mercy Community Health – Hartford, Connecticut, Mercy Continuing Care Network – Springfield and Holyoke, Massachusetts, and Mount St. Joseph – Waterville, Maine. As the largest senior living region within Trinity, this is an outstanding opportunity to lead a region within a national faith-based organization. The President reports to Mercy Community Health Board and the Chief Operating Officer of Trinity Health Senior Communities, Amy LaFleur. The President will operate effectively in a collaborative and shared leadership environment and exhibit a strong commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, goals, and values.  

The President provides leadership and direction in promoting a regional approach to continuing care delivery which is not only faith-based and values-driven but also is responsive and innovative, flexible yet decisive, and highly collaborative in nature. The President will model and promote an organizational culture that is values based, dedicated, accountable for success, and one which acknowledges and celebrates success.  S/he will lead a dedicated team with a passion for serving the elderly and less fortunate. The President will collaborate with Trinity Health Senior Communities in the development of community specific plans and the allocation of capital for repositioning or expansion.  In addition, the President will ensure the delivery of the high quality, patient-centric, cost effective care with unsurpassed service excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of healthcare management principles and techniques as normally obtained through a Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business or a related field, Master's Degree preferred and a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in continuing care health care that includes long term care and post-acute care.  At least five (5) years' experience in a senior leadership role is required.
