LeadingAge RI adult day centers play a unique role in the long term care spectrum by providing a safe and cost-effective environment in which people retain their optimal independence while also receiving appropriate and supportive care and services from trained staff. Adult day centers are able to provide a full range of health and social services individuals need to remain safely in the community, including assistance with personal care services, care management and coordination, nursing services, medication management, dining and nutrition services, caregiver support, social and therapeutic activities, and more. They are an especially helpful resource for individuals with dementia. Research indicates that adult day health services can help improve the well-being of both individuals and caregivers.

Our members are also able to communicate and collaborate with the wide range of high-quality aging services providers that are part of the larger LeadingAge RI membership. Indeed, LeadingAge RI members believe that promoting the greatest quality of life and quality care isn’t just a choice, it is our commitment to our older residents, their families, and our communities.
