Speaker Proposals
LeadingAge RI invites you to share your expertise in the field of aging services by submitting a speaker proposal. We seek proposals throughout the year, and for our annual conference, that demonstrate best practices, exemplify creativity, and inspire innovation in the field of aging.
Our Audience
LeadingAge RI represents long-term care providers across the spectrum – including nursing homes, assisted living residences, adult day providers, senior housing, home health agencies, and the PACE program. One of our priorities as an association is to provide continuing education opportunities for our members and other interested professionals. We do this through in-person events (our annual conference and standalone seminars during the year), as well as webinars. Our educational events are diverse in scope, covering clinical practice, regulatory topics, business operations, and more. We are accredited by the RI Department of Health to provide continuing education hours for Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrators, and our audiences include all levels of staff from our members. We also can obtain contact hours for nurses and social workers.
Our educational sessions are intended to support learning rather than sell, promote, or pitch specific products or services. Thank you for understanding that we typically do not pay presenters or reimburse expenses.
Below is the initial information needed by our Education Committee to review proposals. We will then collaborate with presenters on the appropriate forum. Please email your complete proposal to Karen Donovan, kdonovan@leadingageri.org, or call 401-490-7612 with any questions. Thank you!
