LeadingAge Rhode Island (LARI) was founded in 1989 as a not-for-profit membership organization comprised of not-for-profit providers of aging services. Our diverse membership includes not-for-profit nursing homes, assisted living residences, and senior housing providers, as well as adult day health services. Every day, our members help thousands of older Rhode Islanders and their families by providing the services that individuals need, when they need them, in the place they call home.

Our national partner, LeadingAge, is an association of 6,000 not-for-profit organizations dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Together, we advance policies, promote practices, and conduct research that supports, enables, and empowers people to live fully as they age.

Given the wide range of supports and services provided by LeadingAge RI members, we represent a constellation of care for older Rhode Islanders and their families. If you are in need of long term care, our members stand ready to provide quality and compassionate care.
