2025 Aging Services Policy Conference

Our 2025 Aging Services Policy Conference, hosted in partnership with the Rhode Island Assisted Living Association, was held on Friday, October 17, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Providence Airport Warwick. Our featured peakers engaged interactively with attendees about issues, challenges, and opportunities at the national and state levels.

A special thank you to Speaker Joe Shekarchi and Senator Lou DiPalma for providing state updates, Linda Couch from LeadingAge for sharing insights on evolving federal policy, RI Medicaid Director Kristin Sousa for offering a look ahead to 2026, and Frank McMahon of Advocacy Solutions for his expertise. We also welcomed Lt. Governor Sabina Matos and Office of Healthy Aging Director Maria Cimini, who greeted the audience and thanked providers for their work in caring for Rhode Island's older adults.

Many thanks to our 2025 event sponsors!
