Our Mission

LeadingAge RI is committed to “Expanding the World of Possibilities for Aging.” As such, LeadingAge RI will continue its mission of advancing excellence in the field by fostering innovation, collaboration, and ethical leadership; advocating for sound public policy; providing education, collaboration, and professional development; valuing older people and their right to make choices; and promoting a continuum of services.

The LeadingAge RI Education Corporation (formerly the Rhode Island Association of Facilities and Services for the Aging Educational Corporation) is an arm of LeadingAge RI. It was established exclusively for educational purposes. Its goal, through activities such as conducting public discussions, forums, panels, lectures, seminars, and other similar programs, is to educate its membership and the public about services for the aging.
